Vicenza Institute of Architecture
The UF Vicenza Institute of Architecture (VIA) is based in Vicenza, Italy, a major center of the Veneto (the mainland region around the urban archipelago of Venice). The program focuses on evaluating and understanding the historical, social, cultural and physical aspects of this particularly rich urban context through research, documentation and design.
East Asia Summer Program
With excellent skills of local languages, rich travel experience and active relationships with architectural academia in East Asia, the East Asia program faculty can provide theoretical and practitioner guidance to students in exploring cross-cultural architectural design for poetical and ethical built environment. The program provides an exchange platform for the faculty and students from the University of Florida and the East Asian universities for substantial architectural encounters.

Preservation Institute: Caribbean
The Preservation Institute: Caribbean (PI: C) is dedicated to conserving the ecological and cultural heritage of the Greater Caribbean Basin through education, research and service projects. The principal aim of the PI: C program is to study the influence of geography, culture and climate on place making in tropical and subtropical landscapes such as Florida, Mexico and the Caribbean.
Paris Studies
The UF Paris Studies Program in the School of Architecture is an interdisciplinary research initiative that focuses on the Modern architecture in France and the influence of the modernist legacy on the contemporary European practice.
Global Lab
The Global Lab is a cross-disciplinary research initiative focused on the study of emergent global trajectories in architectural practice, building technology, and urban policy making.
